Many accommodation businesses function like a retail business in the sense that they desperately want to attract new clients, yet many ways they operate like a manufacturing facility.

Street level signage to present an attractive face for the business is important, backed up with quality reception which provides a positive first impression when clients walk in the door. Then the business needs to direct people and vehicles safely around the site, provide clear equipment operating instructions, and provide enough information that clients can enjoy their stay.
